TRAINING PROGRAMS IN RESEARCH
AHERF offers training programs in circulatory biomarker research to eligible candidates. This training program provides hands-on laboratory experience to candidates, allowing them to work in a research environment, handle various lab instruments, and develop their molecular and cell biology experimental skills. Through this program, they understand research lab functioning, project handling, experiment design, and execution while following standard laboratory practices. Overall, the program offers an opportunity to explore and develop scientific abilities. Through these programs, candidates gain valuable molecular and cell biology skills that can help them secure admission to higher education programs and successfully land scientific positions in prestigious institutes.
CLINICAL RESEARCH COURSE
AHERF in association with the Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Research University provides a one-year Post-Graduate Diploma in Clinical Research, with classroom training and internship at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals since 2020.
The objective of the course is:
- To train research professionals and equip them with critical skills needed for clinical research
- To promote ethics and values in research in hospitals through Good Clinical and Laboratory Practices (GLP & GCP).
- To collaborate with the pharma industry and provide hands on experience to students and researchers and thereby, provide job ready clinical researchers.
INTERNSHIPS
AHERF provides internship and short-term training programs to life science graduates/post-graduates for 3-6 months. Around 50 students completed internships in the past decade. Research project activities are conducted at the Cell and Molecular Biology Research Centre lab at AHERF Hyderabad for 1-6 months.
